Polaris Music Prize

There is a music prize in canada called the Polaris Prize. Which is similar in content to that of the Mercury Prize that is in the UK, as well as a similar one in the US.

It celebrates the best album of the year created by a Canadian band. There is a short list of 10 albums which are then voted on by a panel of judges and a winner is announced. The ceremony was last night.

This year Hey Rosetta!, Joel Plaskett, Metric were all nominated among some other bands who've been nominated other years.

A hardcore punk band won last night, they are called Fucked Up. Their album is a wonderful piece of work and it should be celebrated for what it is. That is an album wonderfully crafted which blurs the lines between rock and punk, while still keeping the fundamental aspects of both genres in place.

The news broke, to myself, this morning on the CBC website. The CBC is a federally funded organization which blankets the whole country in unbiased and fairly accurate news and information.  I spent the rest of the morning reading the scathing reviews that people would post on the news article telling everyone how much they hated the band. A good 75% of the posts openly admitted to not having heard their music before, but still put in their two cents on how the sound of the band matched that of the sound of their album. Its ridiculous to think that someone can be so opinated about something they know nothing about.

Getting back to the album, I have listened to the album and it honestly took me a couple of plays to get into the groove of the sound. It is one of their better and cohesive works that they've released in the past 7 or 8 years and quite frankly they deserve the recognition in their own country.

Their album "Chemistry of Common Life" is routinely found in the top 20 of most critics. It rates higher than all of the other albums that were also short listed.  I can't comment on most of the other performers on the list as I have not heard most of their work but I'm still shocked and in disbelief that someone could be so ignorant to base an opinion on nothing other than a name.

I guess the band is right, its all "Fucked Up".

Lazy and/or Stupid

Music: TKK - Jet Set Sex || Radiohead - Just (Live)

What is it with people? And by people I really mean the younger generation who are just entering the work force or have been for the last couple of years? I've found over the past couple of years that they just are not the reliable as employees or students for that matter. I've gone to school with people fresh out of high school who had a hard time focusing on the task at hand, let alone trying to figure out what they wanted to get out of the course.

I've had to work with people who are alot younger than myself, and trying to teach them things gets to be a big chore when you discover that they can't listen to the things that are important to their job. Instead they twiddle their thumbs in their mind and nod every 45 seconds to make it seem like their paying attention.

Its like everyone from their generation, age range, small genetic pool has undiagnosed ADD. Or they've been experimenting with Ritalin as a recreational drug and its messed up their attention span. In either case...

Are they stupid? Or just lazy?

  • Who calls in sick an hour before their shift? And then quits when asked to come in or find someone to cover.
  • Who calls in sick twice during their first week of work?
  • Who quits on the spot when they get flustered that there's going to be an inspection?
  • Who spends a good portion of their day on their cell phone in class or at work?
  • Who spends most of their time programming their laptop to turn off when they should be answering the request thats in front of them? (At least if I'm doing personal stuff I try to do it on my work computer. :)
And that brings me to my final point: when did I turn into such a bitch?

Onto other things. I got my awesome glasses on Friday. I'll post a picture sometime. The important thing to remember is that they're black frames with "racing stripes" down the arms. So. F*cking. Cool.

F**king Oil Industry

The price of oil is currently hovering around $70 a barrel, somewhere it hasn't been since the summer of 2007.

I'm currently paying $1.10 a litre for gas (about $4.19 a gallon) which isn't reasonable, but a nice break from the $1.30 we were paying a few weeks ago.

I have a very efficient car (42/32 mpg highway/city) but I'm still finding myself filling up the tank and cringing everytime that I do because its slowly destroying my budget.

I'm all pissed off now. (I would like to thank the charting feature at GasBuddy.com)

The last time that Oil was this price I was paying $0.95 a litre for gas. Thats alot of money when I fill my tank, almost $8 extra I'm paying when I fill my tank from empty.

How fucking fair is that? Asshole regulators are screwing me.

Landlord from Hell

Music: Skinny Puppy - La Human8

So, I've been here in Asia for a few days now. I've been away from home for 6 days and within those 6 days my old landlord has become a complete Asshole!

Lets start from the beginning:

Our last apartment, was in a house downtown. It was a great little spot, cute and cozy. With neighbours from hell. They smoked pot all the time, which doesn't bother me except when the house was old and drafty and we ended up getting more pot then they did. They also had no control of the volume of their stereo, they though that turning the bass booster off would mean that there would be no music, only words.

So, we moved to another house a little further from downtown but closer to my work. The landlord was very approachable and very nice. We signed the lease on the spot basically, and moved in shortly thereafter.

We had an arrangement with JW which would allow us to use our damage deposit as our last months rent since he wasn't going to give it to the Rentalsman [Essentially, the peace keeper between tenants and landlords.].

We'll move ahead a 6 months.

I had just gotten back from Brunei, when I saw JW in the driveway. He hardly said two words to me and didn't look very happy. The next day his wife started acting weird towards me as well. Did I do something to offend them while I was gone? Were they getting a divorce?

We tell him that we're leaving when our lease was up. We essentially gave him 4 months notice, but told him it would be more beneficial to rent the place for the first of September instead of the first of October to get more lookers.

Within 2 days of the place going on the market he had it rented. Which was awesome, he then came to us and asked up if we'd be able to be out for the middle of August because thats when the new tenants wanted to move in, we told him we'd be out the for the first of August to make the transition easier.

It was agreed.

Then he decides on a whim to try and change our agreement about lasts months rent without discussing it with us. Why? Because he's turned coat and become an asshole. He mentioned it to me on the phone while he was out of town and I protested, alot. He told me he'd call me back on Monday and we could talk about it more. He never did. So I assumed he was going to stick to our original agreement.

We found a place in the next town over that we were going to take and slowly move things over the month of July and then officially move when I got back from Brunei.

We called him just before the beginning of July to tell him of our intention to get our Puppy. (Did I say anything about the awesomeness of Fergus yet?) He went ballistic on us, so we said that we'd give him to my wife's mom for a few weeks until we moved out.

In the back of our minds we decided to find a new-new place, not in the other town, where we could move sooner instead of having to wait for such a long time.

JW went on vacation and we moved while he was on vacation. Was it intentional? No. We just needed to move before I came to Brunei, so thats what we did. Nothing personal. (He obviously took offense.)

He came back, and we were pretty well gone, just a few loads of odds and ends (microwave, toaster, etc) that needed to go in the car. We brought the puppy with us one morning just to get him used to being in the car. JW sees him and has a conniption, I swear he had an aneurysm.

He yelled at us about having the dog in the house; What if the people are allergic, he says. Our dog's hypo-allergenic, we comment. He yelled about the cats; we "lied" to him about them when we first moved in. And that he has a problem with a dog in the house period, not just visiting.

He then tells us that he's going to cash our check for rent for the month, we didn't say anything because if he was going to be an ass then he deserved the NSF charge. (We weren't worried because we closed the account altogether 3 weeks prior.)

The apartment was mostly emptied when I came to Brunei, which made me happy since the only dealings we had left was to clean it and then give back the keys.

My wife gets a telephone call on my 2nd day in Brunei from him and his wife threatening us with lawsuits because our check bounced and the apartment wasn't cleaned, they wanted their keys back, and were going to call back every day until it was rectified. Thats right they entered our apartment without our consent, and told us they were going to harass us. How nice of them.

We ended up calling the Rentalsman about the situation, and told him everything that was happening. This is a summary of what the rentalsman said:

Since your landlord broke the law and didn't give the damage deposit to me; there is nothing stopping us from using our Damage Deposit as our last months rent. And that we have done nothing wrong. He emphasised that fact and told us to change our telephone number if he calls us again.

After this, my wife gets another telephone call from him and he starts yelling at her again about the same things, all the while his own wife is in the background saying things like: "You give it to her.", "You tell that bitch how it is."

In the middle of all this my wife breaks out the news that he broke the law and we'll give him the keys "when we're f*cking ready".

I smiled when she told me this as it had literally made my day.

We haven't heard from him in a couple of days. Maybe he's gotten the fact that he fucked up.

Fuming!

Music: Autechre - Further

I didn't realize until a few minutes ago that it was actually Friday the 13th, normally this doesn't bother me. And today isn't any different. But there are other things that are on my mind...

At work I am mentoring another person, basically I assist them with their daily tasks, provide guidance and leadership, you know... essentially I'm the Big Brother. Our boss told me to do this the moment I came back in the doors in January, I took the responsibility on with open arms as I used to do this as well with another co-worker.

Except today. I was apparently the "asshole". Let me explain, yesterday afternoon he was sending a message to a client when I left, so I came in this morning and read the message. Everything was fine.

He arrived at work, and I said to him.

Me: "Why did you ask for this? Did the original problem get fixed?"
Him: "No."
Me: "You should ask him for this log file just to make sure that you can verify that its not a problem before asking for something else."
Him: "I just didn't. I don't need you to tell me what to do."

(a few moments later, he turns around...)

Him, very angrily: "Why are you always reading my requests? I never read yours, I never asked you to."
Me: "I was just trying to help."

He was pissed, so how in my attempt to offer him some advice, I offended him, hardcore.

I cooled myself down because I was about ready to punch out his lights for being such an ass. I quickly emailed my boss about something else that had come in through the email and then briefly mentioned the altercation to him, within about 30 seconds he called me into the office to find out what was going on. I didn't want to have to report this, but lately things just don't seem to be working out at all for him. I mean the training class that he gave a few weeks back was a disaster in the clients eyes, and now this.

Things don't seem bright.

Why don't people listen...

when I tell them things.

Case in point:

A colleague asked me if I had worked with a piece of software before.

I honestly answer him: probably not in 2 years.

For the next 3 days I'm barraged with questions of:

"Do you have these files?" (I've never been involved in the project.)
"Am I doing this right?" (I don't know, I've never done it.)
"Do you have these other files?" (Seeing as how I didn't have the first ones, I doubt I'm going to have the next ones.)

Edit: Now I get it. I'm being asked because the employee before me used to work on this project and software so they figure that I'm inheriting knowledge

Bloody hell...

Music - !!! - Pardon My Freedom

I'm not actually whining about the heat, I can deal with that sometimes (by taking a trip to the mall for a movie)... I'm whining about the fact that with the Air Con turned *on* here at work I'm still sweating.

I put my arm on the desk and I can feel how sticky the air actually is. Shouldn't having the A/C running cure this and pull the moisture from the air? Shouldn't I be comfortable sitting in my seat while at work?

Then again this is the same company who told us to bring indoor and outdoor shoes in the winter because they didn't want to pay someone to mop the floors...

If only things were easier and I could run my own business, then I'd freeze the office out.

Apartment Shopping.

Music: Holy Fuck - Lovely Allen

There are currently three things that I hate most in the world:

1. Inconsiderate Drivers
2. Intolerant People (whether religious, racial, sexual, etc)
3. Moving

Wait, thats just the order in which I thought of them. Let me re-number them so you know how much that I actually hate moving.

1,000,000. Inconsiderate Drivers
2,000. Intolerant People (whether religious, racial, sexual, etc)
1. Moving

I *despise* moving. I hate packing. I hate lugging. I hate lifting shit up the stairs. I hate re-organizing the living space to fit the things we own. I hate arguing with my wife about where to put shit. I hate having a time limit to get the stuff out the apartment and into the new one before the uHaul renters in town pitch a fit.

Generally, all-around, without much doubt... I hate it.

Guess what we're potentially doing for the month of July? Thats right. Moving. But, if I have my way we'll have two apartments for the month of July which will give us thirty days to move our stuff from one place to another! How frickin' awesome is that?

F@ck right off...

Music: The Smashing Pumpkins - Disarm

I posted this initially, and have now re-read it. What a horrible entry... time for some editing.

I asked about a new feature in the application which allows a different page to be opened, I first read about it in the features document that was sent to me this morning and I had just gotten an installation working so I figured I'd check it out:

Me: Where do you set this? (After 10 minutes I found it on my own)

Me: So the setting says "Use the first" of the items in the list, where does it get the first one from?
Dev: From the list of features.
Me: But if the admin can set them up, and the user can set them up.
Dev: You'll have to test it because we don't know.

This means they don't care how its done, nor do they care about the usability or wording.

I thought about it for a few minutes and realized which would be first.

Me: Ok, so its the admin.

I quickly realize that there are two listings in where the Administrator can set the order, when its created and when its assigned to a user.

Me: Which list is it using? Because there are lots of inconsistencies.
Dev: I don't know, probably from the group. (Which makes sense)

Now I get to the hard questions:

Me: Whats the point of it? I mean if you have a list of 15 of these things that the admin just added and suddenly realized that things were wrong and you have to use the first one... you need to remove them all and add them all back in to have the proper order, because you didn't put in any mechanism to move these items up and down in the list*. So someone needs to spend a good 15 minutes getting this sorted out for each of the user groups (because the groups can have a different set of these items.)
Dev: That wasn't a requirement.
Me: So we're putting out a piece of functionality that development doesn't know the order of, where a user has no easy way of creating and maintaining this information? And no one thought of making it easier to use?
Dev: Its going to be like that in the next version in September.

Developers are always so hopeful, the version that I'm testing now is going on 2 months late, which means the September launch is already pushed back to October.

Me: So, why didn't we take the initiative to fix this as we were developing it?
Dev: I don't know. I'll file a defect.

Thats code for it'll get fixed at some point, but not anytime soon.
I hate it when shit like that happens. Why would you release something like that?

Think of it like this, you make a list on a piece of paper and you want to change the order. But you wrote it in marker, now you have to redo the entire list again on a new piece of paper. Its a waste really.

* This isn't the first time they've done that.

24 hours of bliss....

then this.

Music - The Secret Machines - Still See You

Less than 24 hours after Microsoft announced that it would be supporting ODF with its latest Office 2007 service pack comes out in 2009, did the European Commission counter and basically say, "Oh yeah!? We'll just see."

What they're saying is that they will make sure that Microsoft does it right the first time. This is the same commission that fined Microsoft close to a Billion dollars (most of which was late payment fees) for being a Monopoly with regards to Internet Explorer and Windows Media Player. (You can't buy a copy of Windows in Europe that is shipped with IE or WMP because of this commission.)

I personally think its a good thing, because they have a history of supporting things, mostly industry and International standards half-arsed. (Web-designers will take note of CSS)

The thing that I just thought about is this. The Service Pack with the new support is in 2009... TWO THOUSAND and NINE.... and they can't figure out how to support their own format in NINE MONTHS? What are they stupid? No, they're not stupid they just created a monster that they can't control.

What the hell happened....

Music: Bond - Remixed :: Get Set Go - I Hate Everyone.

Yesterday was such a horrid day. Lets see where it all started to go wrong.

About 2 am I woke up with a terrible stomach pain for an unknown reason. I lay awake listening to my wife sleep (read: snore and grind her teeth) [She'll kill me for that.] I took this opportunity to do something fun at 2am that I haven't done in a while. ...

Watch trashy tv.

I flicked through all of the channels we have. From 1 - some ungodly number. And couldn't find a single thing that qualified. I settled on something on the Discovery Channel about horses, or dogs, or maybe even Jojo the dog-faced boy. It was 2am and I was mostly asleep.

All of this constant flickering lasted until about 3:30am.

I was awake and bored. Severely bored.

I walked to the back room and sat down in front of the computer and listened to music and surfed the Internet for some interesting videos on youTube. Nothing.

4am approached and I figured that since I was supposed to be at work in a few hours, I should go to get some sleep if I were to have any chance at being productive at all.

Cut to Noon: I noticed that one of the processes we have running on the server has been malfunctioning for a few months without any one noticing. I spent the rest of the day trying to determine the cause of the problem.

Cut to 3pm: This is where I was "clusterfucked" (my boss' words, not mine).

Background information: This coming Saturday I'm going to my sisters wedding in Mexico. We're going for an entire week of Sand and Surf. And most importantly, relaxation.

Back to 3pm: Surprise meeting. The new Project Manager decides that he needs to get the project they've been sitting on for 11 months started before the deadline. He tries to book me a trip on the 10th of April to go. Thats in the middle of my vacation, screw that.

He then convinces my supervisor that its a great idea to send me on the 15th of April to the location. He already knew that I wouldn't be getting back into town (and the country) until the 13th.

Who the hell does that to someone? Making them fly literally half-way around the world less than 48-hours after getting back from another trip....

I wasn't impressed, and I'm still not impressed because the stupid script *still* isn't working.

Cut to 5:30pm: I get back to my desk after the meeting and notice my counterpart has gone home. I quickly wonder if he actually did the task I told him to do. I knew the answer before I even logged onto the server. He didn't.

*Throws head on desk and screams*

What the hell is wrong with you people....

I've been neglecting this like a crack addict neglects eating or flushing the toilet.

I've spent much of my time lately watching movies, spent the weekend watching the Extended editions of all three Lord of the Rings movies. (Man, thats ALOT of movie.)

Speaking of which, go right now to your local video store, rent "Eastern Promises". Watch it, and tell me 2 things you hated about the movie, I think you'll have a hard time with it. Such a wonderful movie, its hard and grim but you can't make a mafia movie in the style of Disney.

Now to the bitching:

I have a pretty standard work week, generally I work Monday to Friday 8-5. Which is nice to be back to a normal schedule. And since I've been back with the company I've been in a number of meetings furthering the software and keeping the clients happy.

Last week I spend about 10 hours of my week in meetings, now I don't mind being in the meetings because it makes me feel important and it helps take my mind off of the daily happenings of the office.

But then I come back to reality with a sharp kick the groin when the meetings are over.

Like this morning for example.

I had a very short meeting concerning one of the projects that we are working on, and that I have taken over since my return (not by my choice, but the clients requested me). When I was finished with the meeting I went back to my desk to research some of the items that were there that need to be completed tomorrow during my consultation visit.

One of the items is outstanding since the beginning of December, way too long for an issue to be unresolved. I talked to the guy who was working on it.

It went something like this....

Me: Do you remember this problem that Client X is having?
CB: Yes, I remember testing it to see if was a solution.
Me: Did you fix this problem for the client at their location?
CB: No. Two other people fixed it.

I went to talk to those two people.

Me: They didn't fix it, they told you about the problem and that you had to fix it.
CB: Oh, I remember testing some fixes.
Me: What were they.
CB: I don't know.
Me: Did anyone give them to the client?
CB: I don't know.
Me: Do you have the files so that I may test it?
CB: No.

This is the point where I wanted to slap this guy into next week for being a complete f*cking idiot.

He then went on to say that the guy whom I replaced fixed the problem and that I should email him. (I have proven documentation that he himself went to the client to fix the problem and not the other fellow he likes to blame all the time.)

Stupid people generally make me laugh, but not when they keep me from doing my job properly.

On again, off again, on again ...

Listening to: Hanzel und Gretyl - L'Experience des Dificultes Technique | Nine Inch Nails - Love is Not Enough (Live)

I just wish I'd make up my mind sometimes.

It looks as though my migration away from Windows is going to be happening again. And its all thanks to my wonderful laptop.

Don't get me wrong I love my laptop I think its a fantastic piece of machinery. I've never had a computer as good as the one that I have now, but there seems to be some interference.

I noticed last night while I was working that my mp3s tend to skip and stutter sometimes. You never come between a geek and his music, thats sacrilege.

At first I thought it was due to bad sound quality or faulty songs. As a test I put one of the offending songs into each of my mp3 players on my computer (of which I have 5) and it played with the same stuttering results. Test one passed.

I then copied the song to my MP3 player where upon the song played perfectly without any problem what so ever. Test two failed.

After doing some quality research (5 minutes on Google) I discovered that I'm not the only one encountering this problem. There are loads of other people with my particular laptop who are experiencing similar problems. The most common problem was the microphone from the webcam was interfering with the sound. So, I disabled it.

No better. Test three failed.

Other times it was because of old / out-dated drivers. I uninstalled and reinstalled drivers for my soundcard.

No better. Test four failed.

All the time I was buzzing around the internet trying to see what the problem was. Then someone casually mentioned that they had solved the problem by changing some settings in their *wireless* settings.

Could it be true, could my wireless intenet be causing all of the headaches that I've been having with my MP3s. (I've been re-ripping *tons* of songs.)

As a test, I flicked off the wireless internet and started up my test song.

Played flawlessly. Test five passed.

More swearing ensued.

And then I rejoiced as it has finally given me a reason to install Linux for good.

Opening your doors...

Hello, my name is AY@tes and I have a problem. I have recently scummed to an addiction to free software. Normally this would be met with a multitude of lawsuits from companies alleging that I have obtained their software illegally. This is not the case. What I am referring to specifically is OpenSource software, the kind of software that is totally free of charge.

I'm not stating that I am completely against all things Microsoft Windows related as many of the openSource software have been ported to Windows as well. As a certified Microsoft Professional, you would think that my motives and desires would be lead toward all things Windows related. I should devote an entire entry to spouting the benefits of using their software, ... lets not and pretend we didn't as no one would want to read it.

I do not mind paying for the software the I use if I am going to benefit from using it. Then again, as a employed person with a job and a plethora of background education you would also think that I would want to be frugal with my money and save it for the things that are important, such as making payments on my Student loan and getting a new LCD television. As I am a certified professional, if I get caught with any pirated software (read: “obtained from a friend software”) then I can loose my certification and not be eligible for any future certifications which would hurt my ability to gain work experience.

There are lots of benefits to switching to an OSS (OpenSource Software) solution, but it can be time consuming to set up initially. Although, once you have a computer configured with the setup and configuration that you need then the system is extremely stable and reliable.

Many people don't realize that most of the websites they connect to daily, and the search engines they use are completely Linux based. Why is this? Because its stable and reliable. Its as simple as that.

I would like to ensure that my employable status remains for as long as humanly possible, so I am going to begin my transition away from proprietary software in the coming weeks. [That an using free software is cool.] Although it will be a long and difficult process to say the least.

This will entail a great many things that I will have to sacrifice. The first and foremost will be the use of my Adobe Lightroom software for organizing and managing my photography. I can go back to using Google's Picasa but I have tasted the brilliance that they are offering and I don't know that I can part with it. My only other option would be to buy a Mac laptop which isn't in the affordability range right now.

Migrating away from iTunes I had thought would be particularly hard, but there is a great alternative for Linux (Banshee) that works great with iPods and will even import your library as well. So that saves me hundreds of hours for re-rating the songs, I like it when things are that much easier.

You can do a search online and find hundreds or thousands of open source software which function as great alternatives to all of the software that you pay hundreds of dollars for. There may not be as many of the features in the OpenSource version, but 90% of the daily functions you will require will be there.

I also read recently that a small company had switched to using OpenOffice for their office computers, which were 60 in total, not a lot by any means. They had called Microsoft and asked for a quote on getting the latest version of Office, which is 2007. Can you guess the cost of putting the software on all of their computers? It was $15,000 can you believe that? I can.

Here is a great article about how Linux can be great for use with a Small Business:
http://www.itwire.com/content/view/15298/1023/

With all of that said, (and said in a very scattered and diluted manner, I should work on my writing if I ever want to get better, that can happen another day as I really don't want to mess with it right now. Its late and I need to get back to working.) it will be a long and difficult process but with the many headaches that users are having with Vista I can see many more people having to install Linux on their computers in an attempt to have something that functions.

[Again, I'm making an attempt to keep from bitching out Windows as it could last for days.]

Things to do on Halloween eve....

shoveling isn't one of them.

In honour of receiving our first snowfall last night I thought I would title todays post appropriately. You have read it right, last night we received about 2 inches of snow, now its bad enough that I was working at 7am this morning, but the last thing that I wanted to do was to clean off the car. Actually, the last thing I wanted to do this morning was get up and go to work, but alas, here I am.

The spirit of winter, though, has yet to awaken from it summer slumber and the “Fall Guy” has decided that he was going to bitch his entire way through the day.

Generally, I'm all about winter. Its my 2nd favourite season to take pictures in, Fall being the first with all of the colours. The first snowfall of the year, makes the trees, in particular the Pine and Fir, stand out from the rest of the forest. My new work environment is completely surrounded on the back by forest so I have spent a good portion of the morning looking out at the trees and the way that the snow is hanging on the branches.

The downfall of the winter, now that I own a car, is the expense of maintaining it in the winter. Seeing as how the East Coast of Canada gets a lot of snow and freezing temperatures the general consensus of people around is to put “winter tires” on the car. Now, really, who the hell can afford to put winter tires on the car? Not me. Though I am looking forward to the first time that I have to shovel my driveway when I own a house, that novelty will wear off once I figure out that it means that I have to get up an hour earlier to get myself *out* of the driveway.

There is one more thing about winter that I like, normally people are happier in the winter. Yes, people love the sunshine and the warmth of the summer, but you will hear more people complaining about the stickiness and how they can't enjoy anything outside because of the heat. In the winter, everyone already expects to not do anything because of the weather so they are accepting of this and walk around with rosy red cheeks and a smile on their face when they reach the comfort of indoors.

Just thinking about going outside after work and taking in the fresh air is making me smile and is turning my day around already. I think that today just might be a great day...
